Ensemble Laude is an advanced choir of c. 50 adult treble voices.  We rehearse weekly, currently on Thursdays at St Mary’s Church, 1701 Elgin Road in Victoria. We perform up to three different concert programs, each of them performed multiple times, per year.

Our singers come from all walks of life – from music teachers, to emerging, current, or formal professional singers, to those who have a love of choral music and a strong voice, but little formal musical training. If you are looking for a friendly but ambitious choir with fast-moving rehearsals, and if you’d like to be part of a warm community of like-minded singers who love to put on interesting programs in their community, we would love to hear from you.

We hold friendly, informal auditions twice a year in July and January. These are afternoon events at which prospective singers meet and sing with our Artistic Director, spend time with our Conducting Fellows/Emerging Artists learning some part songs (these are sent out in advance), and then spend 15-20 minutes singing with current members of the choir.

Please write to our General Manager, Natascha Sekerinski, at manager (at) ensemblelaude.org, to reserve your place.
