DREAM

A Climate Passion Play

A ground-breaking choral event, conceived as a ‘Passion’ in the style of J.S. Bach, for Vancouver Island.

A dream vision in which singing guides us to sleep, into dreams, through night terrors, and toward hope, through awakening, in our renewed world.

Our DREAM features music written about coastal British Columbia and the Canadian wilderness by Katrina Gimon, Sarah Quartel, Brian Tate, Andrew Balfour. The Passion is articulated through recurring arrangements of the Hurrian Hymn to the Moon (oldest known song) by Kathryn Whitney.
