Ensemble Laude Choral Society (ELCS) is grateful for the volunteers, donors, sponsors and funders that help us give back to our community! Ensemble Laude provides opportunities for women and non-binary persons from a wide range of backgrounds to perform at a high level of excellence. We host concerts throughout the year and regularly commission Canadian works by female composers. As well, we have a unique mentorship program that trains aspiring youth artists. We are strongly committed to giving back to the community and are proud to offer fundraising concerts for worthy community organizations such as Bridges for Women, Women in Need and Rainbow Kitchen.
How you can help
As a registered non-profit society with charitable status, the ELCS welcomes private donations from our patrons and supporters. There are so many ways to support our work:

Tax receipts
The ELCS can provide charitable receipts for income tax purposes. When you donate online to the ELCS, CanadaHelps will issue you a tax receipt. Or, contact us for other ways to get a tax receipt.

Take our music home
In the last decade, our repertoire has expanded even further beyond medieval music and now emphasizes selections by female composers worldwide. Our latest album, Vox Femina (2024), is a curated collection of these pieces, with an emphasis on Canadian contemporary female composers.
